SUNDAY MORNINGS

Early Christian Education: Children from birth to age 4 meet in the nursery suite on the main level. The staff is on-site at 10:15AM for drop-off. Class and dynamic play run until the end of the morning service.

Toddlers receive age-appropriate Bible lessons and explore God’s love through music, games, and crafts. Fully engaged teaching teams of two make this a fun and lively class.

Infants are welcome in our beautiful, airy nursery suite, also starting at 10:15AM. Snacks, diapers, and wipes are available, as well as rocking chairs and a screen for nursing mothers.

Junior Church: At 10:30, children ages 4 through 4th grade attend congregational worship until dismissal at 10:50 or so when they will be taken to the Hope Room for Junior Church.  The Hope Room is on the main level, the third door on the right once you enter the long hall. There, the children will learn about God's plan for their lives through Bible stories, discussion, prayer, scripture memory, and crafts.  Kindness and respect are learned through cooperative games and God’s love is shown through Christian service projects, such as making greeting cards for shut-ins, preparing meals, raising money for missions, and collecting food and medical supplies for those in need.

Young Adult Programs

Junior High students may attend Sunday morning service in the sanctuary or choose to be Teachers' Aides in the Children's Christian Education classroom. Social activities may take place on an occasional basis.

Senior High students may join the Enrichment class starting at 9:45 in the Library.  Afterward they may join the congregation for Sunday morning worship in the sanctuary at 10:30AM. Teens may meet occasionally after hours for social activities. They are also invited to work as Councelors in Training at VBS each summer, an excellent way to learn teaching skills and gain confidence. Their energetic assistance makes VBS an even more wonderful experience for everyone involved.

Family Outreaches: These are unique events, such as the Teddy Bear Picnic, the Victorian Tea Party, Noah's Ark, and God's Beauty In The Natural World. Families are welcome to come in, relax and have fun together. These events are always announced on the main page of this website. Space is often limited, so please call the church office at (781) 235-6025 to register.

Vacation Bible SpectacularWe very much regret that due to the retirement of key administrators and the subsequent changes, which are in still in process, there will be no Vacation Bible Spectacular during the summer of 2017.

We sincerely hope that your children will be able to join us the following summer, in 2018, when the new leadership will have been established and the program reevaluated and restaffed.

Meanwhile, enjoy the Lord and all His blessings,

The EC VBS Team
